Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.\nPossess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.\nEnsure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.\nPossess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.\nAssist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.\nStore Operations\nAssist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.\nAssist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.\nAssist with maintaining back stock levels.\nAssist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.\nAssist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise.\nAssist with merchandise resets through the store.\nNeed to be able to work at register.\nProvide assistance to Department Specialists, i.e. price changes, special orders.\nEnsure signage is current throughout the store.\nOperate forklift with proper training.\nParticipate in store meetings.\nBe professional in appearance and actions.\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\nEducation/Training\nHigh School or GED equivalent.\nExperience\nFormal retail experience preferred.\nPhysical Demands\nStanding, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing.\n$13.00 - $15.00 based on experience (Part Time)\nShift: Varies\nReports to Store Manager and/or Assistance Manager\nNotice to Applicant about this Employer: You are applying for a job with an independently owned cooperative member of Ace Hardware Corporation, who operates this Ace Hardware store, not Ace Hardware Corporation.
